Markennah King Crowned Miss Bruceton

BRUCETON, Tenn. — Central High School junior Markennah King is Miss Bruceton for 2026.

She is the daughter of Brandi King and Justin Whitfield, and was crowned on Tuesday evening, February 24 at the culmination of Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central’s annual two-day pageant event.

First maid in the Miss Bruceton category was Anna Frazee, 15, daughter of Derek and Tiffany Frazee. Second maid was Gabby Goodman, 18, daughter of Lauren Luther.

Pageant Winners

Winners were crowned in eight categories, overall.

The title of Baby Miss Bruceton went to two-year-old Mairee Lane, daughter of Allyson Westfall. First maid went to Charlie Baker, 2, daughter of Peyton Ellis and Beau Baker. Eight-month-old Covie Baker, also daughter of Peyton Ellis and Beau Baker, was second maid.

Tae’lyn Owens, 2, was crowned Baby Mr. Bruceton. He is the son of Aubrey Reeves and Dontel Owens. First page was Kemp Ford, 10 months, son of Aliyah Ford and grandson of Heather Ford. Second page was Forrest Baker, 7 months, son of Lily and Dakota Baker.

Six-year-old Sunny Brown was named Tiny Miss Bruceton. She is the daughter of Patrick and Jordan Brown. Millie Mae Baker, 4, daughter of Lily and Dakota Baker, was first maid. Zahlee Roberson, 5, daughter of Michelle Jones and Chauncey Roberson, was second maid.

Jeremias Willis, son of Homer and Auraillia Willis, won Tiny Mr. Bruceton. Connor Cook, 5, son of Tyler and Casi Cook, was first page. Second page was Zander Jones, 3, son of Michelle and CJ Jones.

Onah Harris, 6, was crowned Little Miss Bruceton. She is the daughter of Jodi Hutcherson and Daniel Harris. First maid was Sofia Hicks, 8, daughter of Daniel and Donna Gilliam. Second maid was Emory Kate Douglas, 6, daughter of Justin Douglas and AJ Belyew.

Kaylynn Barrett, 11, was crowned Miss Pre-Teen Bruceton. She is the daughter of Mason and Michelle Barrett and is in the 6th grade. First maid was Raegan Tedford, 10, daughter of Jonathan and Sharon Tedford. Second maid was Lottie Brown, 11, daughter of Patrick and Jordan Brown.

Whitley Walters, 12, was crowned Junior Miss Bruceton. She is the daughter of Shannon and Shonda Walters. First maid was Sadie Jo Thomas, 13, daughter of David and Amanda Thomas.

Event Details

Miss Hub City Volunteer and Central High School junior, Stella Higdon was emcee for both evenings. Hollow Rock Productions provided music, and trophies came from Carroll County Trophies.

Judges for Monday were Katie Hidges, Virgina Sanderson, and Harlei McClintock. Tuesday’s judges were Laura Harrsion, Meghan Poore, and Mackenzie Poore.
