Carroll County General Sessions Reports August 27, 2025

The following cases were heard in Carroll County General Sessions Court on Wednesday, August 27, 2025.

Probation Violations

Kenneth Ray Beckham of Huntingdon pled guilty to a probation violation and was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days with credit for time served. He is eligible for day-for-day credit upon successful completion of inpatient rehab after 90 days.

Stephen Moffler of Huntingdon pled guilty to a probation violation and received a sentence of 11 months, 29 days with 136 days’ credit for time served.

William D. Moore of Cedar Grove pled guilty to a probation violation. He was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days with 144 days’ credit including inpatient treatment.

Trent M. Townes of McKenzie pled guilty to a probation violation and was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days.

Drug and Paraphernalia Cases

Angelo R. Edwards of McKenzie had multiple charges bound over to the Grand Jury, including Schedule VI drugs (manufacture, delivery, sell, possession), unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of a weapon, and methamphetamine possession with intent.

Crystal Porter of Trenton saw a charge of simple possession dismissed. She entered pre-trial diversion on a paraphernalia charge with a $750 fine, probation, an alcohol and drug evaluation, and a review date set for August 19, 2026.

Megan Smith of Humboldt, in an Aug. 20 hearing, had a charge of driving while license revoked dismissed. She pled guilty to attempted possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia, was fined $250, placed on probation, and ordered to undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and complete a cognitive behavioral course. A separate simple possession charge was dismissed.

DUI and Traffic Offenses

Joshua Mason Levi Cochran of Cedar Grove had charges of window tint violation and bumper law violation dismissed.

Dustin Martin Conley of Bradford had a charge of driving while license suspended dismissed.

William Moore of Cedar Grove had charges of driving while license revoked (DUI-related) and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia dismissed.

Jonathan Navarro of McKenzie had a charge of driving while license suspended dismissed.

Terry Mikael Reindl of Huntingdon had charges of driving while license suspended and failure to carry a driver’s license dismissed.

Arden M. Simmons of Cedar Grove pled guilty to DUI, second offense. He was fined $350, placed on probation, ordered to undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation, attend DUI school, and install an ignition interlock. His driving privileges were revoked for one year, and a firearm seized in the case was forfeited to the Tennessee Highway Patrol. Charges of handgun possession while under the influence and failure to exercise due care were dismissed.

Hanna M. Wells of Paris had a light law violation dismissed. She pled guilty to driving while license revoked and received a sentence of 11 months, 29 days.

Other Offenses

Justin E. Hedge of Camden had charges of obstructing service of process and prohibited weapons dismissed. He was ordered to forfeit knuckles to the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office.

Maurice Lawrence of Huntingdon had a charge of criminal trespass dismissed.

Romeo Perez of Yuma was granted judicial diversion for vandalism of highway structures. He was fined $100, placed on supervised probation with conditions, and ordered to complete 50 hours of community service.
