Four McKenzie streets will soon be repaved.
The City Council awarded its fall paving contract to Martin Paving after reviewing three bids at their meeting Thursday, September 11.
The contract will cover paving on Florida Avenue, Florida Court, Manley Street, and Bell Avenue.

The total cost is estimated at $123,165.
With $200,000 budgeted for the project, the city will still have about $57,000 left for hot or cold mix to address pothole repairs.
Street Department Director Johnny Mercer added that David Street will be scheduled for next year. Two large culverts on that road must be replaced before resurfacing can take place.
Martin submitted the lowest bid at $140.44 per ton. PRI Paving of Milan came in at $141 per ton and Arrow Paving at $148.50 per ton.
Mayor Ryan Griffin said Martin Paving not only offered the best price but also met the city’s specifications and has a proven track record with McKenzie.
No official word on when paving will start.
