Carroll County Grand Jury Indictments – January 5, 2026

A Carroll County grand jury handed down the following the indictments on Monday, January 5, 2026:

Jeffrey Wayne Harrington was indicted by the Carroll County Grand Jury on a charge of possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver. The indictment alleges that on or about Oct. 24, 2025, Harrington knowingly possessed less than 0.5 grams of a substance containing methamphetamine, a Schedule II controlled substance. The charge is a Class C felony.

Cheyenne Johnson was indicted on one count of aggravated child endangerment. According to the indictment, Johnson is accused of knowingly endangering a child eight years old or younger on or about Aug. 25, 2025, by exposing the child to methamphetamine. The indictment states the child later tested positive for the controlled substance. The charge is a Class A felony.

Rashad Jovan Brown was indicted on multiple charges stemming from an incident on April 2, 2025. The charges include two counts of unlawful possession of a weapon, aggravated assault, and reckless endangerment. The indictment alleges Brown discharged a firearm from a motor vehicle, causing another person to reasonably fear bodily injury and placing the public at risk. Several of the charges are enhanced due to prior felony convictions.

Alan Donald Jastrzembski was indicted on ten charges, including evading arrest, reckless driving, driving while license suspended, possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, possession of fentanyl with intent to deliver, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, possession of alprazolam, possession of marijuana, and unlawful drug paraphernalia uses and activities. The charges stem from multiple incidents occurring between July and September 2025.

Michael Lee Browning Jr. was indicted on charges of theft of property and fraudulent use of a debit card. The indictment alleges Browning knowingly obtained or exercised control over $10,000 or more in cash belonging to the Cedar Grove Volunteer Fire Department between January 2022 and April 2025, and knowingly used a department-issued debit card without authorization. Both charges are felonies.

Jared Tyler Baugus was indicted on charges of evading arrest, reckless driving, and violation of law regarding ignition interlock device. According to the indictment, Baugus fled from a Carroll County Sheriff’s deputy during a traffic stop on Sept. 10, 2025, drove recklessly, and operated a vehicle without a court-ordered ignition interlock device.

Keith Walderain Haynes was indicted on four charges: criminal attempt to commit aggravated robbery, aggravated assault, tampering with evidence, and unlawful drug paraphernalia uses and activities. The indictment alleges Haynes attempted to place a victim in fear using a knife, committed an assault with a deadly weapon, concealed evidence during an active investigation, and possessed drug paraphernalia.

Richard Crossno was indicted on a charge of assault. The indictment alleges that on or about Nov. 11, 2025, Crossno intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly caused bodily injury to another person.

Stephen Brent Moffler was indicted by the Carroll County Grand Jury on charges of violation of a restraining order, harassment, and especially aggravated stalking. The indictment alleges that between July 27 and Aug. 2, 2025, Moffler knowingly violated an active restraining order by contacting the protected individual, engaged in repeated unwanted communication intended to alarm or frighten the victim, and committed especially aggravated stalking after a prior conviction involving the same victim. The restraining order and harassment charges are Class A misdemeanors, and the especially aggravated stalking charge is a Class C felony.

Brandie Lou Ann White was indicted on three felony charges related to the care of an elderly or vulnerable adult. The indictment alleges that between Oct. 1, 2024, and June 20, 2025, White knowingly financially exploited an elderly or vulnerable adult in an amount of $10,000 or more but less than $60,000. She is also charged with two counts of aggravated neglect of an elderly or vulnerable adult, with one count alleging serious bodily injury and another alleging serious physical harm. The charges include Class B and Class C felonies.

Demarcus Montrell Robinson was indicted on charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and unlawful drug paraphernalia uses and activities. The indictment alleges that on or about Nov. 12, 2025, Robinson knowingly possessed between one-half ounce and 10 pounds of marijuana with intent to deliver. He is also accused of possessing digital scales intended for use in drug distribution. The drug possession charge is a Class E felony, and the paraphernalia charge is a Class A misdemeanor.

Larry Joe Logan was indicted on charges of driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident. The indictment alleges that on or about Nov. 30, 2024, Logan drove a vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant on Highway 79 and Greenhill Road in Atwood. A second count alleges that on Feb. 16, 2025, Logan failed to stop and remain at the scene of an accident involving property damage. The charges are Class A and Class B misdemeanors.

Bobby Eugene Johnson was indicted on charges of possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver and unlawful possession of a weapon. The indictment alleges that on or about April 28, 2025, Johnson knowingly possessed 0.5 grams or more of a substance containing methamphetamine with intent to deliver. He is also accused of possessing a Glock Model 23 handgun while having prior felony drug convictions. The charges include a Class B felony and a Class C felony.

Antwain Laman Spears was indicted on charges of possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver and unlawful drug paraphernalia uses and activities. The indictment alleges that on or about July 27, 2025, Spears knowingly possessed 26 grams or more of a substance containing methamphetamine with intent to deliver. He is also accused of possessing digital scales intended for drug distribution. The drug charge is a Class B felony, and the paraphernalia charge is a Class A misdemeanor.

Dakotha Shea Cameron was indicted by the Carroll County Grand Jury on multiple felony charges stemming from alleged sexual offenses involving a minor. According to the indictment, the charges include aggravated sexual battery, aggravated statutory rape, rape of a child, aggravated rape of a child, and continuous sexual abuse of a child. Prosecutors allege the offenses occurred over an extended period between 2023 and Aug. 29, 2025, and involved a victim under the age of 13. Several counts allege repeated acts constituting a pattern of abuse. The charges range from Class A to Class D felonies.

Chance Clayton Hart Johnson was indicted by the Carroll County Grand Jury on four charges stemming from an incident on May 7, 2025. The indictment alleges Johnson introduced drugs into the Carroll County Jail, possessed controlled substances including buprenorphine/naloxone tablets and clonazepam, and possessed items intended to falsify the results of a drug test. The charges include one Class D felony and three Class A misdemeanors.

Rodrigo Atkinson Reyna was indicted by the Carroll County Grand Jury on four counts of unlawful possession of a weapon related to an incident on Aug. 22, 2025. The indictment alleges Reyna knowingly possessed a 9mm handgun while prohibited due to prior felony convictions, prior felony drug convictions, and prior misdemeanor domestic violence convictions. The charges include one Class B felony, one Class C felony, one Class E felony, and one Class A misdemeanor.

Gregory Neal Young was indicted by the Carroll County Grand Jury on four charges related to an incident on Sept. 11, 2025. The charges include tampering with evidence, possession of methamphetamine, unlawful drug paraphernalia uses and activities, and criminal impersonation. The indictment alleges Young attempted to destroy methamphetamine during an active investigation, possessed a substance containing methamphetamine, possessed a syringe intended for drug use, and falsely identified himself as another person to a law enforcement agent. The charges include one Class C felony and three misdemeanor counts.

Jonathan Ray Sullivan was indicted by the Carroll County Grand Jury on multiple charges related to a series of incidents occurring between August and November 2024. The charges include aggravated burglary, burglary of a vehicle, theft of property, burglary, and escape. The indictment alleges Sullivan unlawfully entered a residence and multiple buildings, burglarized several vehicles, stole property valued between $1,000 and $10,000, and later escaped from a court-ordered drug treatment facility in McEwen after being dismissed from the program. The charges include Class C, D, and E felonies.
