HUNTINGDON, Tenn. — Shoppers will soon be able to purchase beer at CashSaver after Huntingdon’s Beer Board approved a retail beer permit for the grocery store on a 3-1 vote Tuesday evening.
The permit allows for off-premise consumption.
Mayor Chad Edwards told the board that the review process for the application had been completed and approved prior to the meeting.
A public hearing was held, with no one speaking for or against the application.
Councilman Will Atkins cast the lone no vote. Council members Chad Barnhart, Lori Dillahunty, and John Sanders voted in favor.
