SWORN IN — Members of Tennessee Highway Patrol Lateral Class 95, including former Huntingdon Police Officer Malachi Arline (right), raise their right hands as they take their oath during Thursday’s graduation ceremony in Nashville.

Arline joined the Huntingdon Police Department on July 10, 2023, and completed the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy on June 20, 2024.

He went on to earn his place among the THP’s newest troopers.

The graduation ceremony was held at the Tennessee State Library and Archives, with Governor Bill Lee serving as keynote speaker.

Commissioner Jeff Long and THP Colonel Matt Perry also addressed the newest members of one of Tennessee’s most respected law enforcement agencies.
