McKenzie Police Reports: April 1–5, 2026

MCKENZIE, Tenn. — The following are incident reports submitted by the McKenzie Police Department from between April 1 and April 5, 2026. They include various incidents such as protection order violations, aggravated burglary, drug charges, driving on a suspended license, and a disturbance resulting in multiple charges.

Violation of Protection Order — 291 Walnut Circle Officer Timothy Dillon reported on 04/02/2026 that the McKenzie Police Department was dispatched to 291 Walnut Circle after the victim contacted officers to report that Matthew Bell had called her in violation of a no contact order. Officer Dillon confirmed through jail call logs that Bell had placed a phone call lasting approximately five minutes to the victim. Bell was charged with Violation of Order of Protection/No Contact Order and transported to Carroll County Jail.

Driving on Suspended License / Drug Paraphernalia — 14735 Highland Dr (Walgreens) Officer Timothy Dillon reported on 04/01/2026 that officers initiated a traffic stop on a red 1998 Chevy C10 pickup near Highland Drive after observing an expired registration tag. The driver was identified as Robert Lee Bunce III, whose license was found to be suspended indefinitely following a failure to appear in Milan City Court. During the stop, Bunce admitted to having marijuana in the vehicle. Officers recovered two marijuana grinders, two marijuana bongs, one glass marijuana pipe, and approximately six grams of marijuana. Bunce was issued a General Sessions citation for driving on a suspended license and advised to turn himself in to Carroll County Jail within ten days.

Aggravated Burglary / Aggravated Criminal Trespass — 73 Reynolds St Officer Timothy Dillon reported on 04/01/2026 that officers were dispatched to 73 Reynolds Street regarding an unwanted subject. Upon arrival, officers found Timothy Hickey inside the residence, which he had entered without the consent of the homeowner. Hickey had an active ban notice served on 09/23/2025. Officers located Hickey hiding behind a refrigerator. A search revealed a fixed blade knife concealed in his waistband. Hickey was charged with Aggravated Burglary and Aggravated Criminal Trespass and transported to Carroll County Jail.

Warrant Arrest — 9535 Cherrywood Ave Officer Timothy Dillon reported on 04/01/2026 that officers were notified of a wanted subject, Miles Estes, located at 9535 Cherrywood Avenue. Officers confirmed active warrants on Estes and placed him into custody without incident. Estes was transported to Carroll County Jail, where he awaited transportation to Milan Police Department.

Driving on Suspended License — Walnut Ave & Main St Officer Michael Cunningham reported on 04/03/2026 that he observed a white van run a stop sign at the corner of Walnut and Main Street. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was identified as Netisha Gordon, whose license was confirmed to be suspended since 06/05/2021 for failure to satisfy fines and costs. Gordon was arrested and cited into Madison County General Sessions Court.

Violation of Protection Order — 291 Walnut Circle Officer Darren Davis reported on 04/03/2026 that officers were dispatched to 291 Walnut Circle after the victim reported receiving a message from Matthew Bell in violation of a no contact order. This was noted as the second time Bell had violated the order. Bell was arrested and transported to Carroll County Jail.

Disturbance / Public Intoxication / Resisting Stop — 325 Bethel Ct, Apt 102 Officer Billy Burson reported on 04/05/2026 that officers responded to a disturbance at 325 Bethel Court. Upon arrival, officers spoke with witness Anthony Marr, who reported that neighbor Matthew Celusta had been playing loud music and became confrontational when asked to turn it down. Celusta allegedly pushed Marr, continued to be aggressive with officers, and refused to comply with requests to return to his apartment. Officers arrested Celusta for Public Intoxication and Resisting Stop, Arrest. Once at Carroll County Jail, Celusta continued to resist and yell at officers, grabbing his vape and attempting to hit officers with it and kicking the cell door. He was additionally charged with resisting arrest.
