GREENFIELD, Tenn. — Two juveniles reported missing from Greenfield on July 10 have been found safe in Kentucky, the Greenfield Police Department announced Thursday.
The pair left their residence around 8 p.m. on July 10 and were observed traveling north on U.S. Highway 45.
Investigators used license plate reader technology to track the vehicle north through Bowling Green and into the Owensboro area in the early morning hours.
On July 16 at approximately 9:45 a.m., deputies with the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office located both juveniles safe and unharmed. They were transported to the sheriff’s office and reunited with their parents.
The Greenfield Police Department credited assistance from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the U.S. Secret Service, the Tennessee Highway Patrol, and Weakley County 911 in bringing the case to a successful conclusion.
