HUNTINGDON, Tenn. — Carroll County’s annual fair pageants concluded on Sunday, August 9 with the Fair Friends Baby Show and Tiny Mr. and Miss Carroll County categories.
Central High School senior Stella Higdon, who was crowned Fairest of the Fair on Saturday, served as emcee for the event.
Fair Friends Baby Show
Two contestants were entered into the boys’ division of the baby show. Fifteen-month-old Brooks Brittain, son of Grant and Kelsey Brittain was crowned King, and Mason Carter, 20 months, son of Logan and Jessi Carter was named First Page.
The girls’ division saw 18 contestants, ranging in age from just a week old to 23 months old. Judges narrowed the group down to 10 contestants, and picked the top four from that.
Nineteen-month-old Jane Sills of Huntingdon, daughter of Brad and Erica Sills, was crowned Queen of the show. Hattie Kay Thomason, 10 months, daughter of Tyler and Maggie Thomason was First Maid; Blaze McDaniel, 11 months, daughter of Seth and Brooke McDaniel, was Second Maid; and Maelynn Taylor, 5 months, daughter of Sarah Luci, was Third Maid.
Tiny Mr. and Miss Carroll County
Three-year-old Raylan Croker was crowned Tiny Mr. Carroll County. He is the son of Josh and Courtney Crocker of McKenzie. Spencer Moon, 2, son of Gage and Katey Moon of McKenzie was First Page; Maverick Brown, 3, son of Matt and Leslie Brown of McKenzie was Second Page; and Two-year-old Arlo Harvey, son of Samantha and Levi Harvey of Huntingdon was named Third Page.
Paislee Gowan was crowned Tiny Miss Carroll County. She is three years old, and is the daughter of Ian and Brittany Gowan of Huntingdon. Joining her in the court was First Maid Haislee Croker, 3, daughter of Josh and Courtney Crocker of Huntingdon; Second Maid Zenlee Hussey, 3, daughter of Hannah Marshall and Jenus Hussey; and Third Maid Sunny Brooke, 2, daughter of Tyler and Clay Thompson of Hollow Rock.
The Carroll County Fair continues this week with exhibit entries on Monday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
