June Meals
We have completed the first month of Meals on Wednesdays. Thank you for making it such a success. Also, thank you for supporting the Memorial Day Fish Fry. Huntingdon American Legion Post 47 is so blessed to be supported by such a loving community.
Here is the remainder of June’s menu:
6/11 – SLOPPY JOE’S, CORN, COOKIE
6/18 – CHICKEN BREAST, GREEN BEANS, AND RICE
6/25 – SMOKED PORK CHOP SANDWICH, FRIED POTATOES, MIXED VEGGIES
Serving time is from Noon – 2 p.m.
June meals will include meat and sides for a low cost of $10 a plate but some will be subject to change on price depending on the week.
We accept Cash, Check or Venmo.
Blood Drive
We want to thank everyone who participated in the Huntingdon CashSaver Blood Drive, sponsored by the American Legion Riders on Thursday, June 5.
All donors were entered for a chance to win a 2022 Ford Mustang Convertible donated by Joe Mahan Ford and received a free t-shirt. Your donation helps save lives. Thank you for showing up and making a difference!
3rd Annual ‘Salute Our Vets’ 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run
Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 6:30 a.m.
Come join us for our 3rd Annual Salute Our Vets 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run, co-hosted by American Legion Post 47 and American Legion Auxiliary Unit 47! You do not have to be a runner to participate!
Registration is $30 per person. Register by May 24 to be guaranteed a shirt and a goodie bag. All proceeds are used to help our veterans, their families and community. The event starts at the Carroll County Court House – 99 Court Square, Huntingdon.
