According to a preliminary report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol, a 2014 Buick Verano driven by 83-year-old Gladys Chaney of Huntingdon left the roadway and struck the ditch.

Two passengers, 67-year-old Michael Parham and 74-year-old Sandra Parham, also of Huntingdon, were inside the vehicle at the time.

Chaney’s Buick tilted nose-down into the ditch, with its rear wheels off the ground.

The three remained inside until help arrived.
