The following cases were adjudicated during the July 16, 2025 session of Carroll County General Sessions Court:
Billy Borum, of McKenzie, pleaded guilty to failing to carry and exhibit a driver’s license. He was ordered to take substantial steps to obtain a valid license. A seat belt violation charge was dismissed.
Steven Bowen, of Cordova, pleaded guilty to a third-offense DUI. He was sentenced to supervised probation, 11 days’ time served, completion of DUI school, and restricted from driving in Tennessee for one year with an ignition interlock device. Charges of drug possession, drug paraphernalia, speeding, and open container were dismissed.
Derontra Byrd, of McKenzie, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and was placed on six months’ probation. Related charges for expired registration, light law violation, and lack of financial responsibility were dismissed.
Cody Allen Campbell, of Cedar Grove, pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine with intent. He received probation with the possibility of day-for-day credit following successful inpatient rehab. He received credit for 9 days served. Charges for drug possession, paraphernalia, and driving on a revoked license were dismissed.
Ralph Lutrell Dennie Jr, of Huntingdon, pleaded guilty to not carrying a license and was ordered to take steps to obtain a valid one. Charges for window tint, improper registration, and financial responsibility were dismissed.
Ginger Garrison, of Cedar Grove, pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and was fined $150 with probation and required counseling. Charges for simple possession and lack of financial responsibility were dismissed.
William Henry Hollowell, of Huntingdon, entered guilty pleas in two separate cases. He was found guilty of public intoxication in one and received time served (272 days) for a probation violation in another. A vandalism charge was dismissed.
Joseph Dominick Johnson, of Huntingdon, was sentenced to time served for a probation violation, with jail credit from May 13 to July 16. A separate charge for driving on a suspended license was dismissed.
Maurice Lawrence, of Memphis, had a criminal trespass charge dismissed.
Tyler Owens, of Halls, had a failure to appear charge dismissed. A note indicates the sentence runs consecutive to another case.
Timothy Ray Pollard, of Lavinia, pleaded guilty to a drug charge and received supervised probation. Related charges for not carrying a license and financial responsibility were dismissed.
David Ray Rimmer Sr, of Atwood, pleaded guilty to reckless driving and was placed on probation with requirements for mental health treatment and no contact with two specified residences. Aggravated criminal trespass and false report charges were dismissed.
Ashley Brittany Snead, of McKenzie, had a charge for driving on a suspended license dismissed.
Brandon Lee Vestal, of Trenton, also had a suspended license charge dismissed.
Michael D. Walker, of Huntingdon, pleaded guilty to public intoxication and was placed on unsupervised probation. Charges for resisting arrest and disorderly conduct were dismissed.
Several additional defendants—Joe R. Harmon, Anthony Haynes, Dwayne Patrick Jones (with two separate cases)—had no dispositions listed as of the report’s publication.
