Carroll County Hazmat received a boost in resources this week when Ozone Environmental Services (OES) donated two pallets of oil dry to support local spill response.
The donation is valued at around $1,000 in savings for the county.

Andy Kimbrell, West Tennessee Coordinator for OES, delivered the supplies Friday, August 29.
He explained the company’s growing presence in the region.
“We’ve been primarily in Middle Tennessee. That’s where [OES] got its start,” Kimbrell said. “But we’ve seen a growing need for environmental response in West Tennessee.”
Kimbrell worked with the company’s leadership to establish a West Tennessee branch earlier this year.
The office opened in April.
Last Friday, August 22, Kimbrell initially spoke with Carroll County EMA Director Trevor Foster and Carroll County Fire Chief Jonathan Gaskins about coordinating between OES and local agencies.

Since that initial conversation, OES has already assisted Carroll County Hazmat during Tuesday’s accident on Highway 70.
Kimbrell said that OES’s West Tennessee office can respond anywhere in Carroll County within 30–40 minutes, a much quicker turnaround than Hazmat has faced in the past.
“This is all about partnership,” Kimbrell said. “We’re here to help Carroll County Hazmat in any way we can.”
