Woman Arrested for Trespassing, Found Shirtless in Neighbor’s Yard
Bruceton, July 14 — Kathie Mann was arrested for criminal trespass after deputies responded to 136 N. Carroll Street regarding a woman refusing to leave the property. Deputies later located Mann, shirtless, emerging from bushes at a neighboring property. She admitted to going onto the property, claiming someone named David had invited her. A posted “No Trespassing” sign was visible. Mann was taken into custody and advised not to return.
Debit Card Stolen and Used After Domestic Dispute
Atwood, July 14 — Lauren Emert reported that her ex-boyfriend, Richard Keith Patterson, took her debit card following an altercation at her home on Hamilton Street. Although Patterson claimed the card was left at the residence, it was used at a Milan ATM about 45 minutes later for a $300 withdrawal. The card was canceled, and Milan Police were notified. Charges are pending.
Graffiti Found on Mudd Creek Bridge
Carroll County, July 15 — Deputy Alex Sherwood found three males on the Mudd Creek Bridge around 1:38 a.m., where fresh graffiti reading “F*** Trump” had been sprayed. A paint can was found nearby. One suspect admitted responsibility and was issued a citation with a booking date by July 25.
Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest for Revoked License
Carroll County, July 19 — A traffic stop for expired registration led to the arrest of Michael Craig Hollowell, whose license was revoked for DUI and habitual offender status. The vehicle was towed, and Hollowell was transported without incident.
Man Accused of Assaulting Girlfriend with Rifle
Yuma, July 20 — Deputies responded to a domestic assault involving Daniel Wayne Parker, who allegedly shoved and struck his girlfriend, Alexis Pace, with the barrel of an AR-style rifle during an argument. Parker’s mother, Casey Lynn Hooker, allegedly made threats, and a third individual, Joshua Reeves, removed the rifle from the home before police arrived. Arrest warrants were issued for all three after they fled the scene.
Deputies returned later in the evening to 14945 Hwy 424 to serve arrest warrants on Parker, Hooker, and Reeves. Parker was located hiding inside and surrendered after initial resistance. A search of the residence with verbal and written consent uncovered methamphetamine, marijuana paraphernalia, and a phone hidden under a bathroom sink, later admitted to be Parker’s. Both Parker and Hooker were arrested and transported to jail.
Vandalism by Egging in Carroll County
July 22–23 — Edward Gilbert of Highway 423 reported egg damage to his vehicle. The incident occurred on the night of July 22 and is believed to be connected to multiple egging cases in McKenzie and Henry County. A tan Ford pickup was reportedly caught on camera.
Hunting Equipment Stolen from Buggy Branch Property
Cedar Grove, July 23 — Michael Ross reported that several hunting items were stolen from property shared with Jeremy Little, including a Redneck deer stand and four trail cameras. The suspect is believed to be the property’s prospective buyer, though no evidence currently supports the claim. Items were last seen in November 2024.
Trailer and Mower Stolen Near Hwy 70
July 23 — Jeremy Brett Kee reported the theft of a homemade 22-foot trailer and a zero-turn mower from 14765 Hwy 70. The mower had a distinctive lightbar and spotlights. The theft is believed to have occurred on or around July 21.
Man Tased, Arrested After Interfering with Warrant Service
McKenzie, July 23 — While arresting Jason Lott at 305 Farris Carter Street, deputies encountered his brother Daniel Lott, who became combative. After threats and resisting commands, a taser and pepper spray were used to subdue him. Daniel later spit on both a deputy and a jailer. Jason was also found to be in violation of his bond due to a dead ankle monitor battery.
Mother-in-Law Accused of Strangling Daughter-in-Law
Cedar Grove, July 23 — Deputies responded to a domestic assault at 7778 Hwy 114 West. Jacqueline Graham reported being choked and struck by her mother-in-law, Debra Graham, over a dispute about a steam cleaner. She stated she nearly passed out and was fearful for her life. An investigation is ongoing.
