Several back-to-school events are planned across Carroll County to help students gear up for the upcoming school year.
Webb School Alumni Giveaway – July 26
The Webb School Alumni and First Baptist Church of McKenzie will host their annual back-to-school event Saturday, July 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the former Webb High School on Walnut Avenue. The event offers free clothing, shoes, school supplies, haircuts, and food for students.

West Carroll Bash – July 29
West Carroll will hold its Back-to-School Bash for students on Tuesday, July 29, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Junior/Senior High School. The event will include inflatables, carnival games, food, school supplies, and a dunking booth. A silent auction will also be held. All ages are welcome.
Cutz for Kidz – August 2
Tucker Masonry will present the second annual Cutz for Kidz on Saturday, August 2, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Bruceton Fire Department, located across from Casey’s. Free basic haircuts will be offered for children in Pre-K through 12th grade, with food available while you wait. Three $100 drawings for back-to-school clothing will also be held. First come, first served.
Project 19:14 Back to School Bash – August 3

Project 19:14 and local churches will host a Back-to-School Bash for Huntingdon students and their families on Saturday, August 3, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Sesquicentennial Park. The event will include free food, school supplies, games, and Rollin’ Snow shaved ice. Activities will be organized by school area for students in grades K-12.
