The Hollow Rock-Bruceton FFA Alumni and Supporters organization has been awarded a $5,000 grant through the Nutrien Ag Solutions National FFA Alumni and Supporters Grant Program.
This funding will be used to support local FFA chapter activities, install a brand-new aquaponics system, and expand greenhouse production, providing students with hands-on agricultural learning opportunities that connect classroom instruction to real-world skills.
“We are excited to receive this grant because it will directly enhance the agricultural education experience for our students,” said FFA Advisor Michael Stanford. “With the addition of aquaponics and expanded greenhouse space, our FFA members will gain valuable experience in innovative and sustainable agricultural practices that will serve them well into the future.”
The Hollow Rock-Bruceton FFA Alumni and Supporters group is dedicated to strengthening the FFA chapter by providing resources, mentorship, and opportunities that help prepare students for future careers in agriculture and leadership.
The Nutrien Ag Solutions National FFA Alumni and Supporters Grant Program provides local alumni chapters with funding to grow their capacity, support student members, and enhance agricultural education across the country.
