The Town of Huntingdon will officially kick off the holiday season next month with the annual Main Street Christmas, a three-day lineup of events, shopping, live performances, and more.

The celebration begins Saturday, December 6, and continues through Monday, December 8, in Downtown Huntingdon.
Organizers look forward to continuing many annual holiday activities, including the town’s Christmas tree lighting and the Main Street Christmas Parade.
Vendor and food truck applications are available now at City Hall or online. The deadline to apply is December 4 at 4 p.m.
The full schedule is still being finalized.
Saturday, December 6
Pop-up vendors will be open from 1 to 5:30 p.m. inside the First Baptist Church Family Life Center, featuring local artisans, makers, and additional vendors with Mudslingers.
Food trucks will operate from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. in front of the former First Baptist Church entrance across from Urban Salon.
The Tree Lighting Ceremony begins at 6 p.m. at City Hall.
At 7:30 p.m., “Christmas at The Dixie” returns to the Dixie Carter Performing Arts Center.
The annual holiday show is presented in partnership with West TN PBS. It features classic and contemporary Christmas music performed by local talent.
Sunday, December 7
Santa will host “Santa’s Backstage Bash” from 1 to 3 p.m. at The Dixie, offering photos, treats, and a wizard wand workshop. Tickets are $30 per person and available at DixiePAC.net.
At 3 p.m., The Wizards of Winter will take the Dixie stage for a high-energy holiday rock concert.
The 12-member group includes former members of Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Def Leppard, Trixter, Blue Oyster Cult, Alice Cooper, and Broadway performers. Tickets range from $40–$50 plus tax and are sponsored by 92.3 The Hog.
Monday, December 8
The three-day celebration concludes with the annual Main Street Christmas Parade at 6:30 p.m.
Parade participants must register by Friday, December 5 at 4 p.m. Forms may be picked up at City Hall or accessed here. Prizes will be awarded for “Best in Show.”
