Huntingdon Middle Fillies and Mustangs stay unbeaten to start basketball season

The Huntingdon Fillies and Mustangs records stay unblemished in the young season as both squads won two games apiece last week. The Fillies defeated Gibson County at home 48-11 on Monday and Decatur County on the road Tuesday, 58-24 to improve to 4-0 for the season. The Mustangs defeated Gibson County 61-19 and Decatur County 68-33 to improve to 7-0 for the season.

In the Fillies win over Gibson County, they were led in scoring by June Dillahunty with 13, Vivian Singleton 10, Kaylee Eatman 8, Emma Smith 7, Tinley Johnson 5, Anderson Pearson 4, and Lakeitha Cason 1. Gibson County was led by Abby Harris with 3.

In the Mustangs win over Gibson County, they were led in scoring by Derius Pratcher with 18, Hayden Weathers 12, Noah Webb 9, Vincent Galindo 6, Davay Strayhorn 4, Case Raines 3, Jake Harris 3, Noah Goble 2, Jaxon McCord 2, and Ju’Rarri Hughes 2. Gibson County was led by Weston Thompson with 5, Jaquez Reeves 4, Bryce Litton 4, and Noah Davis 4. Noah Webb led the Mustangs in scoring with 16 points in their win over Decatur County.
