HOLLOW ROCK, Tenn. — Sophomore Kyleigh Baker delivered a standout performance on Tuesday evening, March 10, leading the Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central Lady Tigers to an 11-0 mercy-rule victory over Dresden by dominating on both sides of the ball.

Baker went 2-for-3 at the plate with a home run and two RBIs, then took the ball in the circle and shut Dresden out over 4 innings, allowing just three hits, walking none, and striking out three. She threw 69 pitches, 48 of them strikes, and never allowed a runner to score.

The Lady Tigers wasted little time getting on the board. Central scored once in the second inning, then broke the game open with a seven-run third that put the contest out of reach for Dresden.

Lilly McGee continued her strong start to the season, going 2-for-3 with three RBIs and scoring once. She doubled in the third to plate two runs.
Amelia Bennett went 3-for-3 with two runs scored. McKenzye Castleman also went 3-for-3 with two doubles, two runs, and an RBI. Senior Madison Holder contributed a triple and two RBIs, while Alayah Baker went 2-for-3 with two runs and an RBI.

Central is now 2-0 on the young season and has outscored opponents 26-0 through two mercy-rule wins.
They will travel to Henderson to take on the Chester County Lady Eagles on Thursday, March 12.
