If Holder was the story on the mound, sophomore Kyleigh Baker was the story at the plate. Baker went 2-for-2 with a double, a triple, four RBIs, and scored twice.

The game turned decisively in the bottom of the third inning, when the Lady Tigers sent the entire lineup to the plate and erupted for 12 runs.

Central added two more runs in the bottom of the fourth to push the final score to 15-0, ending the game via the mercy rule.

Lilly McGee went 2-for-2 with three runs scored and two stolen bases out of the leadoff spot. Izabelle Blankenship added a double and two RBIs. Cloe Morgan contributed a single and two RBIs. Deaven Whittenburg, used as a pinch runner, garnered two stolen bases including a theft of home.

The Lady Tigers (1-0) will carry their momentum forward to Perry County on Friday, March 6.

The Lady War Eagles travel to Clarksburg to face the Lady Rockets on Friday.
