A Carroll County woman alleged that she was assaulted while visiting a roadside yard sale on Tuesday, October 21. The suspect now sits in Carroll County Jail.
Cheyenne Moore, who resides near the Vale community, recounted her experience in a social media post later in the day, warning others to be cautious after what she described as an alarming encounter along Highway 70 between Huntingdon and Hollow Rock.

In her statement, Moore said she stopped at the old Woodmen of the World building, where an outdoor sale was underway, to buy pumpkins.
After she gathered several pumpkins, Moore said the man running the sale, 57-year-old Terry Sullivan, offered an unusually low price. During their interaction, Moore alleged that Sullivan touched her inappropriately by sticking his hand up her shorts and made a lewd remark.
Moore said she backed away and called her husband in distress. Sullivan allegedly approached her vehicle, and she locked the doors, then contacted law enforcement.
“The Hollow Rock Police Department and Sheriff’s Department were wonderful, took it seriously, and were so kind to me,” Moore wrote.
Moore said she hopes that by speaking out, other victims of assault will find the courage to come forward and report what happened to them.
“No one should ever feel afraid to speak up,” she said.
Sullivan was charged with Sexual Battery and is at the Carroll County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
His next court date is October 29.
