McKenzie Fire Department First Responders and Priority EMS revived a patient during a critical medical emergency on May 20.
After receiving the call, personnel from both agencies arrived to find the patient alert and speaking. However, as the patient was being loaded into the ambulance, his condition deteriorated rapidly, requiring immediate CPR.
Thanks to the swift, coordinated efforts of the first responders and EMS crew, the patient was successfully resuscitated and has since returned home to his family.
