West Carroll Junior/Senior High School launched Homecoming Week with an action-packed Powder Puff Football Game on Saturday, September 20. Seniors hosted the event, bringing students together for friendly competition and school spirit while raising money for the Class of 2026 Project Graduation.

Students from every grade took the field in a lively flag football game, and classmates filled the stands with cheers. The day doubled as a fundraiser, as guests bid on treats in the “Eats and Treats” silent auction and lined up to dunk administrators and coaches in the booth. The WC Youth Cheer team and the school’s own powderpuff cheer squad energized the crowd with spirited performances.
“Homecoming is a special time for pride, fun, and bringing our school family together,” Principal Adam Douglas said. “The Powder Puff game is a fantastic way to start the week and show the amazing spirit of our West Carroll students.”
The freshman team, led by Coach Spencer Long, captured the win. Key players included Tatum Perry, Kinsley Poff, Marissa Mueller, Chloe Rimmer, Triniti Adkisson, and Abbi O’Bryan.
The senior class thanked everyone who attended, played, or contributed. Their support strengthened community ties and provided a financial boost for the Class of 2026 Project Graduation.
