Students at West Carroll Primary School took a break from their usual lunch routine this week to show their appreciation for the school’s behind-the-scenes heroes—its IT staff. Organized by teachers and student leaders, the event gave students a chance to say “thank you” to the individuals who keep their technology running smoothly every day.

During lunch periods, students signed large thank-you cards, drew pictures, and wrote heartfelt messages expressing gratitude to the IT team. From helping fix Chromebooks to keeping classroom tech up and running, the students acknowledged the vital role these workers play in their education.

“We wanted our IT workers to know they’re appreciated, even if we don’t see them every day,” said one teacher who helped organize the effort.

The signed cards were delivered to the IT department, bringing smiles and a few surprised laughs.

“It means a lot to know the students notice what we do,” said one IT team member. “This truly made our week.”
