CARROLL COUNTY, Tenn. — Two Kenwood Middle School students killed in Friday’s crash on Highway 70 have been identified as Zoe Davis and Arianna Pearson.

Side-by-side photos of Zoe Davis, wearing a Red Hot Chili Peppers t-shirt, and Arianna Pearson, wearing a green athletic jersey, the two Kenwood Middle School students killed in the Carroll County bus crash on March 27, 2026.
REMEMBERED — Zoe Davis, left, and Arianna Pearson, right, two Kenwood Middle School students who lost their lives in a Carroll County bus crash Friday, March 27.

The two girls were among those aboard a Clarksville-Montgomery County School District bus traveling to Jackson for the Toyota Hub City Grand Prix Greenpower USA race, a STEM competition event, when the bus collided with a TDOT dump truck in the 10,000 block of Highway 70, between Leach and Cedar Grove.

Those who knew Zoe remembered her as someone who left a mark on everyone around her.

“She was one-of-a-kind, smart, insanely funny, and losing her will never make sense to any of us,” friends wrote in a GoFundMe established for her family.

Arianna’s family faces additional hardship in the wake of her death, with her father, Devin, arranging travel from overseas to be with her mother, Whitney, as they navigate memorial arrangements and the financial weight of an unimaginable loss.

“Arianna was a bright light in their lives, and her absence is deeply felt by everyone who knew her,” friends wrote.

Friends of both families have established GoFundMe pages to help with expenses.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol is leading the investigation into the crash, which remains ongoing.
