Mr. Kevin Dean Rigsby, 59, went to be with the Lord January 29, 2026, after a short time being down.

Kevin Rigsby

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Chase Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to:

West Carroll War Eagles Booster Club

Kevin loved being outside.  He worked on the farm as a young man, and he worked and kept his yard nice. He was an avid hunter and loved working on his guns, taking them apart and reassembling them.  He taught himself to play guitar and played in a band until he became disabled at age 27. Being disabled did not keep him down. Mostly, he loved his team, the West Carroll War Eagles. He enjoyed all games, basketball, softball, anything they played. He once received a plaque for being their “Biggest Fan”. Everyone loved him and were very happy to see him at the games. The last few months he was not able to attend the games. He was also a Tennessee Vols and St. Louis Cardinals fan.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Dean Rigsby and Mom, Pearl Ann Rigsby. He was a member of Yuma Baptist Church.

He is survived by his sister, Carol Morgan (Jim), many precious cousins, friends, and wonderful neighbors that were so good to him.

The family would like to thank Milan Hospital, NHC rehab and Jackson General for the wonderful care he received these last few weeks.  Bless you all.
