CARROLL COUNTY, Tenn. — Qualifying for Carroll County’s Nov. 3 municipal elections closed at noon Thursday, and the Election Commission’s final candidate list shows contested mayoral races in Bruceton, Hollow Rock and McLemoresville.
In Bruceton, Bradley Hurley and Robert T. Keeton III will face off for mayor. Hollow Rock’s mayoral race is set between Ronnie Webb and Misty Dawn White. In McLemoresville, three candidates completed filing for mayor: Incumbant Phillip R. Williams, Austin Prater, and Nathan Worrell.
Bruceton
Four candidates filed for alderman: Jack R. Blocker, Robert Cole, Jason D. McCord and Michael E. Wilson. Thomas Ashley Ingram, who had also picked up petitions for a regular alderman seat, instead filed for the board’s unexpired term seat and is unopposed for it.
Hollow Rock
Four candidates filed for alderman: Bobby Brotherton, Sherry Ozier, James Robison and Angela Stockdale. Cathie Pardue is unopposed for the board’s unexpired term seat.
McLemoresville
Six candidates filed for alderman: Robby Alford, Sharron Holland, Adam Martin, Mike Presson, Lana Y. Suite and Kim Wheeler.
Atwood
T.J. Herndon is unopposed for mayor. Three candidates filed for alderman: Dustin Church, Joann Long and Tommy Polinski.
Huntingdon
Three candidates filed for the town’s council: Kelly B. Eubanks, Andrew Maddox and John Sanders.
McKenzie
Mayor Ryan D. Griffin is unopposed. Five candidates filed for the city’s council: Tom Alexander, Carol Jean Armpriest, Raymond Glisson, Armand J. Hebert III and Bobby L. Young.
Trezevant
Five candidates filed for alderman: Donald M. Barger, Dan Dieringer, Pamela D. Joyner, Shane Rimmer and Liz Yohman. No Mayoral candidate has qualified.
The Carroll County Election Commission is located at 625 High Street in Huntingdon. Early voting for the Nov. 3 election runs Oct. 16-31, and the voter registration deadline is Oct. 5.
