HUNTINGDON, Tenn. — A Carroll County Grand Jury indicted Sabrina Ducksworth on two traffic offenses stemming from the fatal March bus crash that killed two Montgomery County Middle School students.
Ducksworth was indicted on failure to exercise due care and driving on roadways laned for traffic.
According to the indictment, prosecutors allege Ducksworth failed to keep her vehicle under proper control, crossed the center line into oncoming traffic, and struck an occupied vehicle, killing two passengers.
Additionally, the grand jury returned a “no true bill” on a vehicular homicide charge, meaning Ducksworth will not face prosecution on that charge as presented.
The indictment was filed September 14 in Carroll County Circuit Court.
