HUNTINGDON, Tenn. — Residents at Harmony Hill assisted living community exercised their right to vote this month without ever leaving home, thanks to a visit from the Carroll County Election Commission ahead of the August 6 election.

Election commission staff brought voting materials directly to Harmony Hill, setting up an in-person early voting station inside the facility and guiding residents through the process from registration check-in to casting their ballots.
For many residents, the convenience of having the polling process come to them makes the difference between participating and sitting an election out entirely. Staff at Harmony Hill said the visit was a meaningful moment for the community.

Harmony Hill extends its thanks to the Carroll County Election Commission for making civic participation accessible for every resident.
Harmony Hill is an assisted living community located at 100 Jerry F. Atkins Lane in Huntingdon, TN, part of the Americare Senior Living family. To learn more or schedule a tour, contact Harmony Hill directly.
