CLARKSBURG, Tenn. — Clarksburg School has named Renee Maynard as its new Elementary Principal, bringing 32 years of education experience to the South Carroll Special School District campus.

Maynard takes the helm as Clarksburg School transitions into two distinct academic divisions — a PK-8 division and a high school division — a restructuring designed to provide a more focused learning environment for students at each stage of their education.
“It is both an honor and a privilege to join the Clarksburg School family,” Maynard said. “When students know they are loved, supported, and believed in, they are empowered to achieve great things. I look forward to partnering with parents and our community as we celebrate student successes, overcome challenges together, and continue building a school culture where everyone feels welcomed, respected, and valued.”
Dr. Lisa Norris, Director of Schools, said Maynard’s background made her a natural fit.
“Her experience, dedication to instructional excellence, and commitment to students, teachers, and families make her an outstanding addition to Clarksburg School,” Norris said. “We look forward to the positive impact she will have as we continue building on the strong traditions of ’The ‘Burg.’”
