McKENZIE, Tenn. — Multiple agencies are searching for a 20-year-old McKenzie woman who walked away from her home Sunday night and has not been found.
The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office says Alissa Lillian Saxton was last seen around 9 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1, after leaving her residence on Clay Hill Road. She is described as a white woman, 5’6” and 110 pounds, with brown hair, wearing black pants and a black T-shirt.
Saxton is not wearing her glasses, which she needs to see. The sheriff’s office says she is almost blind without them.
A command post has been set up on Hinkledale Road just outside McKenzie. Members of the Carroll County Rescue Squad, Carroll County Fire Department, McKenzie Fire Department, and other agencies are searching, and a Tennessee Highway Patrol helicopter is assisting from the air.
Anyone who has seen Saxton or has information about where she is should call the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office at 731-986-8947.
This is a developing story and will be updated.
