A Camden woman and a Huntingdon family were injured in a two-vehicle accident on Thompson School Rd. Wednesday afternoon, October 8. First responders cut the roof off of one of the vehicles to free its driver.

According to a preliminary report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP), a 2013 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Haley K. Kesse, 29, of Camden, sideswiped a 2018 Hyundai Tucson driven by Kyle G. Denning, 31, of Huntingdon. Denning had several passengers, including wife Jennifer L. Denning, 28, and their three children.
THP reported that all involved were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.

Rescue personnel cut the roof off Kesse’s vehicle in order to safely extricate her. She received multiple injuries and was taken to Baptist Hospital by ambulance from where she was airlifted to another medical facility.
EMS transported the Dennings to Baptist Hospital by ambulance for treatment, as well.
Charges against Kesse are pending, according to THP’s report.
