HUNTINGDON. Tenn. — Nearly two months after site work began on the former Pappy’s BBQ property on West Main Street, structures are being erected.
On Sunday, July 12, construction crews were installing metal appointments to the fuel island canopy for what will eventually be a Casey’s convenience store.

Carroll County Observer reached out to the corporation for comment on the project.
A spokesperson said, “We’re excited to join the Huntingdon community where our guests can expect quality fuel options, convenient and craveable snacks, and delicious prepared food, including our iconic pizza that’s prepared fresh each day using made-from-scratch dough.”
No estimated completion date has been communicated.
